Yarn	Thread
1. Yarn Consist from fiber	1.  Every thread made from yarn
2.  Yarn may consist of one or more plies in it	2.  Thread always consists of more than one ply
3.  It is normally used in weaving & knitting	3.  It is mostly used in sewing clothes & in needle works
4.  It can not be referred as thread	4.  It may be referred yarn also
5.  Yarn has less elongation & strength	5.  Thread has more elongation & strength
6.  Usually yarn is sold in bigger package	6.  The thread is normally sold in smaller package
